Searching for MUJI, from now on Friday, 23 September ― Sunday, 27 November 2022

The activity of searching for things through MUJI’s perspectives is named 'Found MUJI'. Over the past 20 years we have travelled to more than 30 countries and regions, exploring every corner of the world under this initiative. However, the environment in which this activity continues has been changing rapidly in recent years. Mobility is restricted and the means of communication between people are constantly evolving. Under these circumstances, when we turn our eyes to manufacturing and look at it carefully within regions where we are still able to visit, the way things are at present and will be in the future have become visible to us in various forms. We can see that manufacturing continues, using conventional wisdom and technology from new and different perspectives, or by circulating materials in small communities, reasonably and without wasting resources, within the limits of what we are able to do. Rather than resisting these major changes, manufacturing continues through ingenuity, using wisdom and technology. Much recognition of their value can be gained through physically encountering actual products. Here, we invite you to pick up a product, to use it and feel it with all your senses.

The journey to discover MUJI will continue.
